This Privacy Policy explains what information Nearpost ("we," "us," "our") collects through nearpost.co (the "Site"), how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to visitors, audit requesters, and clients.
We collect information in two ways:
If you become a paying client, our payment processor (Stripe) separately collects billing information necessary to process your subscription. We do not receive or store your full card number — see Section 4.
Audit request submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Nearpost, using Google Workspace and Make.com as processing tools to route your submission from this Site into that record. These third-party tools have their own privacy and security practices, which you can review directly with Google and Make.com.
All payment processing is handled directly by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVC, or other full payment credentials on our own systems. Stripe's use of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
We rely on the following third-party services to operate our business and deliver our service. Each has its own privacy practices governing data they process on our behalf:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We retain audit request information and client records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate our business, respond to inquiries, and comply with legal or tax obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time — see Section 8.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 9.
If you'd like your information removed from our records — whether you submitted an audit request, are a former client, or otherwise — email us and we will honor your request within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required to retain certain records for legal or tax purposes.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or your information can be sent to hello@nearpost.co.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
